Feds raid Mar a Lago - All things Trump

Meanwhile, in Atlanta, Fani Willis said a few things that raised more than a few eyebrows. Notably, this:
Mr Wade explained to the court that he booked a lot of these trips for “safety reasons,” given the high-profile nature of the election fraud case against Mr Trump, and that she paid him back in cash.
Ms Willis also testified that she paid him in cash. She explained that her father once told her she should always have six months of cash stored in her house or “wherever I lay my head.”
Mr Wade testified that she always reimbursed him: “She’s a very independent, proud woman so she’s going to insist she carries her own weight…She’s going to pay her own way.”
Ms Willis similarly said, “I dont need anybody to foot my bills.”
Really?

You just keep 10's of thousands of dollars in cash laying around the house to pay your boyfriend when he books a luxury vacation for you?

Seriously?

Yeah. I'm sure the IRS is going to take an interest in that comment.

The exact exchange in court went something like this:

Attorney: So who booked these trips, you?
Willis: No. Mr. Wade did.

Attorney: And who paid for these trips?
Willis: We split the cost. Initially, Mr. Wade would book and pay for the trip, then he would tell me how much it was and I would pay him half.

Attorney: Did you ever actually see the costs? A receipt? Booking slip? Anything?
Willis: No. I just took his word for it. What he said it cost is what it costs.

Attorney: So how did you pay him back? Check?
Willis: Cash.

Attorney: You paid him thousands in cash?
Willis: Yes.

Attorney: So where did you get all this cash? Did you go to an ATM? Run to the bank and make a withdrawal?
Willis: No. I keep a lot of cash in my house at all times.

I know two types of people that do that: Drug dealers and people with a shit ton of unreported income. Like, say, hundreds of thousands of dollars of taxpayers money someone gave their unqualified boyfriend for being a "special prosecutor" in the Trump case.
