The House is supposed to convene at noon, but McCarthy is wanting to adjourn for the day.
He'll need 218 votes, the same he needs to be speaker, to do that.
Reason he wants to adjourn is he's afraid he's going to lose the 4th vote. He's tired of being humiliated.
Democrats have already announced they'll try to whip against an adjournment.
They want the chaos to continue in public, not behind closed doors.
