The Jan 6th TRAITORS

They've called it a night and they'll get back at it tomorrow.

He'll probably wind up being speaker eventually, but he'll have to make so many consessions he'll effectively be a lame duck for the next two years.

I don't see the republicans getting a single thing passed under these circumstances.

But that's typical of them.
 
Fun fact: outside the office of the Speaker of the House, there are always two portraits:

The current speaker, which hangs on the left and the previous speaker that hangs on the right.

Yesterday, Nancy Pelosi was outside the office taking pictures with congress members in front of her portrait, which was the only one hanging.

This just in:

Kevin McCarthy is now being called 'a squatter' by his own party because he already moved in to the speakers office.

I'm honestly wondering how that man sleeps at night knowing that a liberal democrat has received more votes than he has in all three votes for the speakership.

It's beyond an embarrassment. It's abject humiliation.
