An Oath Keeper who served as private security for right-wing figures around January 6 pleaded guilty to seditious conspiracy Wednesday, becoming the first person charged with seditious conspiracy related to the US Capitol attack to strike a plea deal with the Justice Department.

Joshua James also pleaded guilty to obstruction of an official proceeding and agreed to cooperate with the Justice Department's investigation into a group of Oath Keepers it alleged plan to stop the certification of the 2020 Electoral College vote.
All of them.
They'll probably deal with one or two more just to seal the deal on the higher ups. But yeah. They're screwed. So much for "keeping that oath", eh?

Of note: Steve Bannon was referred over for contempt on October 20th, 2021. He turned himself in, spent about two hours at the police station and then left.
Nothing has happened since then nearly six months later.
Had that been me or you, there would have been no bail until we went before a judge, which would be at least a day or two; more likely a week. Then of course our bail would be really high and we'd in all likelihood have to be monitored. We would then have been in front of another judge in no less than 60 days to answer the contempt charges.

The House select committee investigating the insurrection at the US Capitol filed contempt reports Sunday night for former Trump White House aides Dan Scavino and Peter Navarro, claiming it granted Scavino six extensions of his deadline to sit for an interview and hand over documents and noting that several of the issues Navarro said he could not discuss he had previously written about in his book.
The filing comes ahead of the committee's planned business meeting on Monday to vote on a criminal referral of both men for failing to comply with their subpoenas.
