Feds raid Mar a Lago - All things Trump

Former President Donald Trump has been indicted on seven charges relating to mishandling classified government documents and obstructing justice, according to CNN. Specific charges have not been revealed as of press time, although it has been confirmed that Trump will be traveling to Miami, Florida to respond to the charges, suggesting that will be the venue of the case.

It makes him the first sitting or former president ever to face a federal indictment.

Donald Trump's lawyers Jim Trusty and John Rowley have delivered their resignations to the former president, the pair confirmed to NPR in an emailed statement.

"We will no longer represent him on either the indicted case or the January 6 investigation," they wrote. "It has been an honor to have spent the last year defending him and we know he will be vindicated in his battle against the Biden Administration's partisan weaponization of the American justice system."

The two added that they had no plans to address the media concerning their withdrawals.

The news comes after Trusty made the rounds on cable television networks this morning, defending Trump on Fox News, NBC and CNN.

Hmm. Planned?

They just read the full indictment. 37 counts.

Just finished watching Jack Smith read a prepared statement. He's moving for a speedy trial on it as well.

Trump is well and truly fucked.

Full Indictment attached.

Reading through all the documents he stole, it's clear he was handing them over to Putin. He basically stole nothing but our and our allies capabilities, response contingencies and retaliatory strategies.

I doubt he will, but that fucker should die in prison.

Well, actually, he should die instantly by summary execution, but that's just my inner George S. Patton weighing in.
