Here we go again

• Researchers say that it contains 46 mutations — even more than Omicron — which makes it more resistant to vaccines and infectious.
• Some 12 cases have been spotted so far near Marseille, with the first linked to travel to the African country Cameroon.
• Tests show the strain carries the N501Y mutation — first seen on the Alpha variant — that experts believe can make it more transmissible
• According to the scientists, it also carries the E484K mutation, which could mean that the IHU variant will be more resistant to vaccines.
• It is yet to be spotted in other countries or labelled a variant under investigation by the World Health Organization.

I've stopped looking at it. Seriously. I've just fucking gave up caring. I got my shots, got my booster, wear my mask and carry a pack with me in my coat. Fuck everybody else. I'm tired of giving a shit when obviously they don't.

That's because I normally pop by at lunch time which I normally take between 11 and 1 my time depending on when I hit a dead spot in the work load. I fucking hate working from home. I don't have half my shit here and my laptop sucks and my connection sucks and I don't have a vending machine area. God damnit today is going to suck ass.

Schools delayed opening here by 7 days. That lasts until the end of next week. I fully expect them to announce a lengthening before next week is over.

The new conservative provincial government seems determined to ensure ALL Nova Scotians get infected.
