Get a good economist that can crunch the numbers, 10 different ways, and he/she can drive that point home like a dagger !!

Not to mention, the buying power and the prices, of things in 1984, vs now. I remember it well. Grocery prices, gallon of gas, milk, price of a new car, a home, etc

I worked for 3.35/hr myself until finally, I got a Union job paying 9.78/hr starting.

Hell, concert tickets were only like 9/$ back then or less even,

That’s how badly the capitalist corporate structure is holding down the average working man, worker in this country.

I remember seeing Ozzy Osborne with Iron Maiden in 1985 for 12 bucks. Concert started at 8 o'clock and ended around 1 in the morning.

In contrast to that, I paid 140 dollars for Soundgarden at the Fox May of 2017 with The Pretty Reckless (I had never heard of them, but my daughter was a fan). That show started at 9 and was over by 11:45.
 
The rich get richer at an exponentially higher rate than the working poor.

All the corporations that run the venues, the ticket sales, the promotional gigs, they all got richer and richer while everybody else essentially sat still.
