I remember that. That was a couple years ago if memory serves, 2019 or 2020. Doesn't make it any less brutal. He's still waiting on his trial to start as far as I know.

The chief of police of Lawrenceville, Georgia, one of the oldest and biggest cities in Gwinnett County, resigned after some sexual misconduct allegations came to light not long ago.
So the assistant chief of police was made the interim chief of police.
Guess what. Go on, guess.
Yep. Now HE is having some problems with his own sexual misconduct.

A former Philadelphia police officer who fatally shot a 12-year-old boy in the back in March has been charged with first-degree murder, District Attorney Larry Krasner announced Monday, saying the boy was unarmed and on the ground when the officer fired.
Three of the officers took cover, but Mendoza engaged in a "tactically unsound" foot chase of the boy and shot at him three times, Krasner said.
During the chase, TJ tossed aside the gun, Krasner said. Even so, Mendoza fired twice at the boy after the gun was discarded, he said. Mendoza fired the fatal shot from a half-car length away when the 12-year-old was lying face down on the ground, Krasner said.
