The Jan 6th TRAITORS

An attorney disciplinary committee has recommended Rudy Giuliani be disbarred in Washington, DC, for his efforts on behalf of then-President Donald Trump to overturn the 2020 election results.
The committee, which weighs cases of legal ethics and attorney misconduct in the District of Columbia, issued the report and recommendation on Giuliani on Friday following a lawyer misconduct hearing for Giuliani in December that functioned like a trial.
“He claimed massive election fraud but had no evidence of it,” the committee wrote. “By prosecuting that destructive case Mr. Giuliani, a sworn officer of the Court, forfeited his right to practice law. He should be disbarred.”
Couldn't happen to a more deserving asshole.

Trump apparently gave up his attorney-client privilege with Giuliani.

The committee tasked with reviewing Giuliani’s conduct consisted of two D.C. attorneys and one D.C. resident who is not a lawyer. The members deliberated for months after a weekslong series of hearings that featured testimony from Giuliani and several of his close associates. Trump waived attorney-client privilege to permit Giuliani to discuss the matters as well.

Trump has received a target letter from Jack Smith informing him that he's a target in the January 6th investigation. Smith has given Trump 4 days to appear before the grand jury if he wants.

This headline by CNN tells you exactly how far down the sewer line the United States has actually gone:

A third indictment of the former president could be a deep stain on his legacy

Could be. A THIRD indictment COULD BE a stain.

One, ha! No problem.

Two, not a chance of a stain on his legacy.

The third? COULD BE.

🙄

We are not a serious nation anymore.
