They're going to say that since she "thought" she had her taser (how, I can't comprehend) that there was no intent to kill, ergo involuntary man slaughter.
It's like if you and I got into a fight and you shoved me and I tripped, fell backwards, hit the corner of a table and shattered my skull and died, you didn't have the intent to kill me, yet I'm dead; ergo involuntary.
I'm still not buying the mistaken taser gag. Yes, she yelled taser, but come on. In the video, you can see the taser on the officer standing to her right as she comes forward with her Glock drawn.
And here is what that taser looks like drawn:
What's more, that taser weighs in at roughly 9 ounces. It's just plastic with a lithium ion batter in it with two small electrodes and about 20 feet of wire in it.
A Glock weighs about 32 ounces. The ammo clip alone from the Glock will weight more than the taser gun.
So how in the flying hell do you think you have a bright yellow, light weight, plastic, very large taser gun in your hand when you are in fact carrying a pretty hefty, solid black, ceramic and steel Glock 40 caliber pistol?
And bear in mind this person was a 26 year veteran that trained their cops.

Unless she's a complete fraud. A prop made by the department to help promote women in policing. A complete idiot that had no business in her job at her rank.
But of course if that's the case, the entire department from the top on down needs to go to prison for conspiracy to commit murder by pushing that complete fraud on the public at large.
Makes sense. I mean it's not like that was a shootout or some shit. It's a kid half handcuffed for fucks sake. If she panicked that bad on an unarmed kid when she had 4 guys there with her WTF good is she? Probably mace the hell out of a guy writing him a parking ticket for rolling down his window to take it.
