I've had the same issue with other ads before. They find out people are blocking them, they start producing the same ads under a different websites name. I'll check that out and report them to Google if that's what has happened.

It's like whack-a-mole sometimes, man. I had a bout a few months ago with some anime bullshit gaming site. (Obviously, with the game posts in here, we'll get gaming ads)

But this was some of that "high school fleet" borderline porn shit that World of Warships gets off on. I must have blocked around 40 sites to finally get rid of it.

The funny part is it's so clearly a scam and Google allows it to happen. The websites they use have nothing whatsoever to do with the advertising.

Its not at all hard to check that, but Google doesn't bother because they get a cut of the money.

It's blocked too now. I'm sure there will be more.

The single biggest propagator of spam these days is Google. They don't bother policing their own users:
