I vaguely remember that. I remember the lawyer with the dread locks. He gets around. I don't recall what ever happened to the case and I've never heard of the woman that wrote the story. We don't get that channel up here as it's too far away from Atlanta.

Columbus, Georgia is way down south, about 150 miles from here right at the Alabama border.

Thing 1 would have had a better chance of seeing her on the news than I would have.
 
It was a sad story. It was the way they used the term reefer that stood out.

I remember thinking last time I heard it called reefer, people were also still calling it 'the dope' (as in "He's using the dope.") like some 60's commercial or news cast.
