I don't think they have enough to charge him on or they would have by now.

No no no no no. That's a fuckup on CNN's part. They're just running it again to fuck with Gaetz. That guy has been cooperating for weeks in a deal he just made but it's going to take them quite a while to verify all of it and then charge Gaetz. He's going down. No way he walks away from this one. I don't think he's going to jail or anything but he's going to get charged.

Joel Greenberg, an associate of Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) has pleaded guilty to a variety of charges in an agreement that could bring charges against the lawmaker.

The former Seminole County, Fla. tax collector admitted to six criminal counts -- sex trafficking of a child, production of a false document, aggravated identity theft, wire fraud, stalking and conspiracy to commit an offense against the U.S. -- in a case that led to an investigation of Gaetz for alleged sex trafficking.

Greenberg agreed to cooperate with investigators in exchange for 27 counts being dismissed and must pay $655,000 in restitution to his victims, including Seminole County taxpayers.

People have been harping about this for days. It's all old news.

You don't make a plea in court and THEN cooperate. You cooperate and then they allow you to plea to the deal if what you gave them was enough.

Greenberg has been cooperating for months, since as early as last year in fact, in order to get the deal. If they had anything really solid on Gaetz, we would have probably seen him charged by now or at the very least questioned.

They've had Gaetz' phone since last year. That was probably why they took it - the information that Greenberg gave them. I'm of the opinion though that the phone didn't pan out and give them the information it would take to actually charge Gaetz, so it's all for nothing in my humble opinion.
 
So do I, really. It's just that from what we know, they have nothing on Gaetz and they've had plenty of time to get it. Greenberg has been cooperating for months. They've had Gaetz phone since last year.

I'm just of the opinion that Democrats have turned into those same stupid republicans that have been yelling "lock her up" about Hillary Clinton for the last 10 years.

They keep yelling "justice is coming" and yet nothing ever happens. They can track down a guy that walked through the capital in weeks but can't find a thing on Gaetz with nearly a year under their belts?

That's possible. Admittedly, I'm being a pessimist on this because of the complete lack of action against anybody so far.

I've been listening to "justice is coming" for four years now and not one single arrest has been made.
 
I know they were trying to get the girl to cooperate as well but I never heard if they got her to or not. I mean that would be the killer right there. If it's only a guy that just plead guilty to like 30 fucking charges saying you did something wrong then it's not credible at all. If the chick jumps on the bandwagon though he's fucked.

I'm willing to bet that's the only reason Gaetz hasn't been busted yet. The girl isn't cooperating.
