Well, can’t the DOJ and the GA Distrct Attorney office go ahead and file charges, because it doesn’t matter just because he only has 17 days left!
When, he self pardons himself, that has a fair chance of not sticking. So, charge him anyway!! Follow up! Charge him.

See, it’s not like we are on the beaches fighting the enemy, today how the war is being fought is within our government like this.
When you can’t defeat a country militarily, then you defeat it this way, and bring it down.

When the system becomes so corrupt ( like Trump, Pence, McConnell, GOP, laws turned against itself to avoid prosecution, etc corruption etc) what they would do is start taking down everyone around the main one !!! Or anyone surrounding the main guy !! No matter what it took. They would find a legal way, IF not, guilt by other means eventually, until the pressure would build until, they started running in to sing like birds to help them catch the main guy.
And, if not, they paid the price !! Turkish prison is not the place to spend time in.
In some cases, some didn’t make it to prison depending on what they did.
