going out for a couple hours but I shall spend some time later crawling.
Have you fiddled with any settings during the day? There seems to have been an ad reduction in the forum threads directory. Or have I just caught up to all the changes?
I don't get what you're saying. I've messed with some settings a good bit. One thing that's driving me nuts is it can take up to a couple hours for the changes to actually take full effect.
Hopefully, there will be less ads and they won't flood into the actual posts anymore.

What the hell kind of ad is that?!

Just went in and blocked it. The ad maker that does that bullshit keeps creating new domains to serve those ads to as people block them. They're the same as all those "unsensored sports shots" and other bullshit soft porn crap they try to sneak in.
Google is flat-out falling down on the job stopping crap like that.

the inline one below was the same...I closed it and got that response from google asking for different ad choices...
What kills me is I could probably name at least five scenes from films without even seeing the ad...
I went and reviewed over 450 ads and blocked every one that I saw that was like that.
