The poultry plant is two towns away. I gave someone shit two days ago in a store for not maintaining distancing and literally reaching around my head. He was taken aback and of course like any Canadian I apologized for lashing out. I explained it was possible in the poultry plant, to which he seems oblivious until I pointed out it was the one in Berwick. He backed off and apologized. In fact never saw him again in the store.
People have been getting a bit complacent and now it's in the backyard so to speak.
My ancestral chain has survived since the beginning of dawn; I'm not going to let some covidiot destroy that chain without a fight.

Complacency happens to the best of us. You get worn down. You get worn out. You drop your guard. But when someone puts you straight you realize (if you're any sort of real human being) just how badly you screwed up.
It's no different really than someone elbowing you as you start to fall asleep at the wheel. Straighten up and fly right.

That’s telling him ! I can’t stand it when they do that in the store. I give them dirty looks, like I’m about to snap! They back away. If they don’t respond, I usually up and move immediately, and don’t care if they think I’m being rude.

I've been running around most of the morning. Went to Lowe's to pick up the Christmas tree. The "sales" guy that ran the register was wearing a mask, but not over his nose. I told him that pretty much rendered his mask moot and he said, "I don't care. It's just store rules I have to wear it, so..."
So I told him not to come near me, he said, "sure, no problem". Now, he was a pretty big guy, so I really didn't get why when I brought my tree up he called on a girl to come trim it. (Fine example of today's man, I guess.)
I went out to pull my car over to the loading area. Once I got there she comes out with the tree. No mask. At all. So I told her, "just leave it leaning there and I'll get it."
She looked "shocked" and somewhat offended when I said, "Ma'am, I'm an at risk person and you're not wearing a mask at all. Just leave it leaning there and I'll get it."
It's just staggering. It's absolutely staggering that with all that's going on, with all the people dying, with all the people sick, with hundreds of businesses folding, millions out of work, that there are still people like this.
