'Our study indicates that ipsilateral vaccinations generate a stronger immune response than contralateral vaccinations,' explains Laura Ziegler. In an ipsilateral vaccination the vaccine is injected twice into the same arm. In a contralateral vaccination, the primary vaccination is delivered to the left arm while the booster is injected into the right arm, or vice versa. Germany’s COVID-19 vaccination campaign provided an ideal setting in which to study this question.

I always get every shot in my left arm. I've never even heard of swopping arms before.

Speaking of, covid hospitalizations are on the rise here again. They said we're supposed to have a new booster by the fall, but that it "isn't for everybody".

I have no idea what they mean by that.

On the news just now: 5,000 new covid cases last week in Georgia. 3,000 the week before. New vaccine to hit MAYBE by mid September, but it is not effective against this new strain.

This is what happens when you get complacent. Again.

On the news just now:

People getting the new flu vaccine for this flu season: 50% (Normal. Republicans don't get shots. They're wussies and had rather die.)

People getting the new updated Covid 19 Vaccine: 20%

Yeah. That's not going to end well. Again.
