If you're in there for covid then you are going to be contagious. So what's the difference?

You could still be in the ICU due to lingering after-effects of covid. The ICU could have three current covid infections with problems and two post-covid but still in recovery. That should be reported as 5 from covid, not 3 covid cases and 2 ICU cases as they are doing.
