You could still be in the ICU due to lingering after-effects of covid. The ICU could have three current covid infections with problems and two post-covid but still in recovery. That should be reported as 5 from covid, not 3 covid cases and 2 ICU cases as they are doing.
That's a totally fucked up way to go about it. Yeah. I see what you mean.

And they're like 5 times more populated than those other states except for New York. That's the only reason it took so long I bet.

This is from the Miami Herald.

Florida on Wednesday reported 5,819 more COVID-19 cases and four deaths to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, according to Miami Herald calculations of CDC data. In all, Florida has recorded at least 3,565,971 confirmed COVID cases and 54,071 deaths since the pandemic began. In the past seven days, on average, the state has added 311 deaths and 5,532 cases per day, according to Herald calculations of CDC data.

They're saying the same thing here. I'm not buying it.

Although, Governor Kemp did have a short press conference today. In that press conference he stated that cases were falling, but since we saw a surge going into last winter, he sees no reason that the same thing won't happen again. His exact words were, "We have to assume that's going to be the same this year."

So at least he's saying that which will HOPEFULLY get people to be more careful.

I doubt it, but I HOPE.
