Four people were killed in Tulsa on Wednesday after a gunman -- who was later found dead -- opened fire on the second floor of a medical building, authorities in Oklahoma said.

"It was just madness inside, with hundreds of rooms and hundreds of people trying to get out of the building," Tulsa Police Department Captain Richard Meulenberg told CNN.​

The mass shooting is the latest instance nationwide of first responders and civilians coming face-to-face with the threat of gun violence, as Tulsa joins several cities mourning recent tragic attacks at public places, places of worship and educational facilities.​

We had an incident in Alberta about 5 years ago with someone dissatisfied with an MD.

I guess I've been lucky. In all the surgeries I've had, hospitals I've been in and offices I've been to, I've never had a bad doctor. I've had two that I didn't particularly care for that I never saw again, and I've had exactly one REALLY bad nurse who wasn't employed for very long after she pulled her shit, but that's about it.

The problem now up here is the lack of choice if you are dissatisfied. Yes you can change doctors, but you get to go on the waiting list which varies in wait-time depending on your province. There is still health care but it is clinic form and you may never see the same doctor from one visit to the other. not really different from military sick parade.

I've had the same main doctor for 20 years. Dr. Dambach. He's a good guy. I see his partner Borego (who helped me recover in the hospital from cancer) from time to time if Dambach is busy or on vacation.

Of course my neurosurgeon just passed away, so I have to find another one. I am dreading that. She was literally the best there was this side of the Chattahoochee.
