In an astonishing admission, Donald Trump said Thursday that instead of hiring only "the best people," as he promised voters, he hired "garbage."

Trump also complained Thursday that these former appointees didn't follow his version of omerta after a new book revealed that he wanted to execute an unidentified White House leaker.

Speaking of former people that worked for Trump, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, General Mark Milley is quoted in a new book as telling his aides he feared Trump would try a coup.

“You can’t do this without the military. You can’t do this without the CIA and the FBI. We’re the guys with the guns,” he said.​

The general, having listened to Trump spread an array of baseless conspiracy theories and false claims of fraud throughout the final weeks of his term, had drawn parallels with the rise of nazism in 20th century Germany, the book said.​

“This is a Reichstag moment,” Milley told aides in early January, according to the book. “The gospel of the Fuhrer.”​

I was just reading about that. At least its good to know in hindsight that he was on the right side of things.

That's true. All Trump would have needed is one of them. He gets any of them on his side and this country would have very quickly turned into a full blown war zone.
