Yeah. They are stupid expensive. The sad part really is that there's no need for them to be. They just are because the powers that be don't want people driving electric cars. Big oil still has a whole lot of power, especially in this country.

And with electric rates what they are, for the price of a Tesla you can buy a new Volvo S60 and it's actually about the same carbon footprint since most of our power comes from coal and natural gas to this day.
