Speaking of: we just got a letter last week or week before notifying us that our HOA dues are going up to $595.00. (per year)

I can't for the life of me figure out why. It's not like the pool got any bigger or the tennis courts were expanded. It's also not like they enforce the code, which is what really pisses me off.

Back in the crash of 2008-2009, a LOT of people lost their homes and they were all bought up by investment groups and now are leased out. So the people that lease don't bother obeying the HOA. They park on the road, don't keep their lawns up as they should, etc.

Drives me nuts.
