News that the Pentagon is monitoring a suspected Chinese surveillance balloon in the skies over the continental United States raises a series of questions -- not least among them, what exactly it might be doing.
And then there's this:
The balloon made the news here as it apparently drifted over our territory also.
Just finished watching 'Top Gun Maverick". It's about as hokey as I remember the first Top Gun being.
According to this movie franchise, Naval Aviators are incapable of following orders, are complete douchebags to each other, are deeply insecure and narcissistic at the same time, and spend most of their time aloft talking to dead relatives wondering if they're good enough to rise to the occasion.
I wonder who was stupid enough to think that any of that reflects well on the United States Navy.
