He didn't "let" the courts get stuffed. He engineered it. The reason he was able to do that is because democrats don't give a damn. They never have.
It's the same reason they were able to kill Roe. Democrats had 24 years of full majority in the last 50 where they could have codified it. They didn't. Why? They didn't care.
Democrats don't care about anything other than enriching themselves. That hasn't changed one damn bit. Let's review for a moment:
What did all the democrats run on in 2018-2019 leading up to the 2020 election?
- Medicare for all
- Police reform
- Rich pay fair share of taxes
- Student debt relief
The INSTANT they got elected, what did they do?
Nothing. Not a damn thing. They spent two years that they had the majority doing a stupid infrastructure bill that in truth was nothing more than a gigantic slush fund to hand out to their partners. Not a damn thing else got done. Nothing.
And here we still are, 3 years later almost, and not a word about anything they actually promised. Not a single one.
An old boss of mine said it best, "There are no excuses for ever making a mistake. None whatsoever. There are, however, two very good reasons: Number one, you didn't know. Number two, you didn't care."
It's always been "we didn't care" when it comes to the democrats. They've been so busy making themselves filthy rich without caring about anything else at all that they've let republicans do whatever they wanted to right under their noses.
That's why Biden is going to lose to Trump in 2024. If Trump isn't in jail, and even if he is, he's going to be the next president of the United States for one reason only: people are sick to death of democrats always talking shit and never, ever delivering on any of it.
