SCOTUS and It's supposed Neutrality

It's been a joke for a very long time. None of this is anything new at all.

Here's what people keep on missing: IT IS ALL PERFECTLY LEGAL.

There are literally no rules at all when it comes to SCOTUS. There is no code of ethics, no restrictions, no guidelines, no nothing. At all. They can literally do anything at all that they want to do. For life.

How people are suddenly surprised that people given that kind of autonomy would actually use it is simply beyond my ability to understand.

You notice though that absolutely nobody in government is moving to change it?

There's a reason for that: They're all in on it.

Absolutely.

The only reason Thomas is getting this sort of front page treatment is because he's black. It's OK to do it to him. Scalia was Italian-American. You couldn't touch him. Alito is too. (Italian-American, that is.)

Well, well, well...

So here's the rub: his wife was constantly emailing Eastman during that time. I'm actually surprised he recused himself.

Maybe all the unwanted attention has finally gotten to him.
