This is a wide and variant collection of CD-ROM based software, that is, software that came on a CD-ROM for installation on computers, or played in consoles. Ranging from applications and games to gatherings of public-domain software or clip art, the heyday of the CD-ROM is roughly 1989 to 2001.

This one had another bunch of old games available to play in browser. I recently introduced my grandson to QBasic Gorillas (two gorilla's tossing exploding bananas at each other). He loved it.

It was a lot longer than that. Broadband cable didn't really have widespread availability until 2007. I still have Age of Empires III, Oblivion and other games from 2003 to 2005 on CD Rom because you couldn't download them back then.
