My wife has a similar desk to that in her home office. I like the lumbar look on that chair too. A lot.

Yeah lumbar and hip. $300 manager chairs are killing me.

I really should get a new desk. Mine is a corner desk and it was great in its day, but 15 years later it's pretty beaten up. Maybe next year.

There are standing L-shaped desks on the market. I was surprised to see them.

Critique:

• The mouse, mouse pad and phone are on the wrong side of the keyboard.
• Those simply CAN NOT be the old Creative Labs speakers circa 1998. (If so, I miss mine. Best speakers ever made.)

I do really like that desk. Very, very nice.

How is the chair?

The left hand is strictly WASD and coffee.

And actually they're Cambridge SoundWorks. Which was later acquired by Creative Labs And the rears are wired through the ceiling.

I keep debating new ones and these keep working.

I thought they were called something else, but couldn't remember. Mine came with a little square subwoofer, not the elongated one you have, but other than that they look identical.

They had fantastic sound. The only reason I got rid of them was I got a new surround system for mine. My buddy Frank didn't have any speakers at the time, so I gave them to him. As far as I know, he was still using them when he passed away.
