So there's this:
I seem to recall at the end of WWII in Europe, when Americans and British were asking the Germans, "how the hell could you let this happen" and they said, "we didn't know", we marched their asses round the clock in shifts to make them look at it.
Then we made them help clean it up, help bury the dead, and help take care of the people who wished that they were.
And so now we are literally white washing our own history so we can feel better about being a nation of racist pricks.
We're doomed. This nation has seen its moment in the sun. I truly believe it is all down hill from here.

The senate just left for a 5 week break. The heads of the Navy and Army will be retiring around the middle of August. So before they even get back from break, every armed force we have except the airforce will be without a leader. That's not even mentioning the other promotions of officers across the spectrum of the armed forces that are frozen as well.
