Between all the states legalizing recreational, Canada up north already have and Mexico is not far behind down south, there's going to be a lot of pressure on the politicians of those states once neighbours start fixing things with the added revenue.
What it's going to do is make the illegal marijuana trade a whole lot worse as dealers battle over the shrinking area left to control. Sadly, it will probably taking the crime getting worse and worse before our granddaddy government finally throws in the towel and legalizes it.

It is a good show. My wife and I binge it each season and hate ourselves for burning through it so fast.

Bateman has already cancelled filming once. It's filmed here in Georgia and it was cancelled before because of more draconian BS laws the GOP passed down here.
About the time that finally blew over, covid hit.
So now that covid is finally being dealt with, the GOP has once again passed voter suppression laws and I'm sure Bateman will cancel filming yet again.
