Only the finest people.

Reactions: Grimhogun
Just like for example: When Nancy Pelosi was showing off her 24K dollar refrigerator/freezer with her 13.00 quart ice cream that she had stored on that TV program. The Republicans went APE over that. I even have an aunt who is a Republican, that she couldn't stand Nancy and all she could talk about was Nancy's expensive Frig and the Ice cream. You she how they have them programed ?

She has a 13 quart ice cream maker built in to her refrigerator?!
yep, she sure does. I saw it in a video clip. I watched it myself. She opens the drawer and pulls them out to show you even. Nancy was fully open about it. She even shows you her favorite flavors too. Looks tasty.

OH. So it's not an ice cream maker, it's just a freezer drawer full of ice cream.

That rich friend of mine down on John's Island has a similar setup but it's stocked with Hagen Daas. I mean every flavor they've got. Must be nice to have a lot of money. Hell, I'd have one too chock full of Oreo Ice Cream and Klondike Bars.

It's cool, it's fine. No problems.

If Nancy does it, I have no problems with it. The Repungantes are just looking for something to hate.

It's Nancy's money, she can do what she wants with it. Besides, she's doing good work for the people up there.

If had any real money$ which I don't, I probably would feel guilty anyway about spending it. I would be happy with just an extremely large side by side refrig/freezer that more larger than which I have in my condo know, and If I needed more freezer stuff I would buy an extra freezer in another room or something cheaper ( like my folks do ).

But, I guess that's just how I grew up. Having to try and be sensible with what I have.

I wouldn't know what to do with real money other than to horde it for fear of something going wrong. And, they say hooray for capitalism? Who are these bastards ? LOL

I know how you feel.

I feel guilty about buying a new mower, but I sort of had to do it. My old riding mower was 25 years old or thereabouts. When we were getting quotes to level the back yard the cheapest we got was over 7,000 dollars.

The last time I had some areas to fix I ordered a dump truck full of dirt for 250 dollars. Then my good friend came over and we shoveled it into a cart hooked to the back of the old Craftsman mower, drove it around back, dumped it, raked it out even, rinse repeat.

But I'm way past the days of shoveling a dump truck full of dirt, let alone dumping it and raking it all out.

So, doing research I found this:

Husqvarna makes it and it runs about 600 dollars. But I have to have a newer model Husqvarna mower to hook it to, so I went ahead and got this:

That runs about 1900 dollars.

So that should all be here on the 26th I think. All in that's around 2600 dollars after tax and all. Then once I get it all set up, I'll order the dump truck full of dirt once more and use that to move it and level it all out by myself.

My buddy that shoveled with me the last time actually picked up the old Craftsman yesterday. He and his lady bought a house last year and he's been using a push mower, so I passed it on to him for free.

It'll be really nice to have a new riding mower, but I only bought it for the front end shovel to level the back yard.

When it's all said and done I would have done the job for less than half the price and I get a brand new riding mower out of the deal. I'll call that a win.
