Remember Kentucky County Clerk Kim Davis that refused to issue marriage licenses to same sex couples a couple years back?

Well, her bullshit finally caught up with her. She has to pay $260,000.00 in fees. That's on top of $100,000.00 she already had to pay.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) ā€” Former county clerk Kim Davis, who refused to issue marriage licenses in Kentucky to same-sex couples, must pay a total of $260,104 in fees and expenses to attorneys who represented one couple, according to a federal judgeā€™s ruling.​

Thatā€™s in addition to $100,000 in damages a jury said the former Rowan County clerk should pay the couple who sued.​

Attorneys for Davis had argued that the fees and costs sought by the attorneys were excessive, but U.S. District Judge David L. Bunning disagreed and said Davis must pay since the men prevailed in their lawsuit, the Lexington Herald-Leader reported.​

They will receive credit for 858 days already served.​

Well deserved.

Now maybe, just MAYBE, some of these morons will stop giving their asshole kids unfettered access to firearms. I doubt it, but MAYBE.

For the record: if you didn't buy a safe because you thought hidden in a stack of sweaters in your closet was good enough, I get that. After all, even a safe isn't really a guarantee your kid can't get to it.

But you went out and bought that kid that gun. For him. At 15. Knowing it was illegal for him to own one.

And then you turned a blind eye to his mental health.

You'd might as well have fed him mixed drinks until he couldn't walk and start the car, put him behind the wherl and send him on his way.
