California Governor Gavin Newsom said he plans to use a controversial U.S. Supreme Court ruling on strict abortion curbs in Texas to design a law that would allow private citizens to sue some gun manufacturers, distributors and sellers.

It's never going to work.

The 2nd amendment is black letter constitutional law. There is no provision in the law at all for abortion.

That's what really pisses me off about the entire abortion debate: it's been going on for DECADES; longer than I've been alive in fact, and I've been around just over a half century.

Democrats have held congressional and senatorial majorities for MOST of that time. In all that time they never once sat down and wrote some legislation that would actually guarantee abortion rights for women.

Why?

Because it's a tool for them come election day. They've used it to their own advantage. Every single election cycle are you hear about is abortion and immigration.

There is absolutely no excuse for this to not have been settled by now. There is, however, one very good reason: Democrats DO NOT CARE about women's rights. They only care about using it for an election day tool. They continue to do so. They always will.
