I believe I first saw him on Lettterman in the late 80's (I used to record the episodes), but besides Aladdin I became most familiar with him from Hollywood Squares.

I first saw him as the Spokesman for Ted Turner's WTBS station here in Atlanta. He would just yell about what program was coming up next or what movie was being shown that evening.

That was 1980 I think. I know the TV had two knobs on it.

He went on Saturday Night Live right after that.
