What really gets me is how hypocritical both sides are. They all rallied to get Trump banned, every last one of them saying "Twitter is so much better without Trump" and then what do they do?
They post everything Trump does on Truth Social on Twitter.
It's like Trump never left. They just do his work for him. How stupid do you have to be to do that?
Then, as already pointed out, they say it's a company's right to ban anybody they want. There's no guaranteed free speech on somebody's website.
Then they cry rivers when it's they that get banned for essentially the same kind of bullshit that right wingers were banned for.

Mastodon (sp?) sees huge growth after each of these episodes. I believe I recently read they had to do a server upgrade.
Yeah, but it doesn't work anything like Twitter. At all. You have to actually go around and seek people out on a specific server to see anything. It doesn't put anything in your feed at all until you do.
In that way, it's really hard to discover anybody at all. If you don't know them by name and add them, you'll never find them.
I remember you mentioning that earlier. I followed a link this morning that seemed to put me in a general(?) area.
That's a new server. That wasn't there last time I tried it or when I set it up before when Truth Social couldn't get it working.
