That's exactly what social media has done: Allowed idiot adults to act out their childlike selfishness with impunity, which gives them the courage to do it in public.

In the days before computers and social media, they wouldn't dare do that because they knew it would end in public ridicule.

But now, Facebook tells them it's not only OK to do it but it's their sworn duty to do it.

To a child.

I'm glad I'm not there. I may well have gone to jail over that. I would definitely have bitch slapped the hell out of them.
