It's Florida. Again. Sorry, @Grimhogun

Apparently, a Florida man has drowned on a golf course while trying to find a lost golf ball.

A Florida golfer is believed to have drowned after falling into a golf club pond while looking for his lost ball Sunday morning, police say.

Hermilo Jazmines of Lutz, Florida, was playing golf with a friend at the East Lake Woodlands Country Club in Oldsmar, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said in a news release Sunday.

"At about 7:37 a.m., Jazmines teed off at hole number three and was last seen looking for his ball near the green. Jazmines' golf cart was parked on the cart path and his putter was found lying on the ground near the water," the sheriff's office said.

It's a wonder how anybody is Florida is still alive.

I'm wondering what happened to the friend? I mean, you hit. He hits. His ball sails toward the lake, yours is on the fairway. You don't go help your friend find his ball? You sit there waiting and waiting while he drowns?

And I'm sorry, but you can buy a sleeve of nice Titleist for 25 bucks. It's not worth dying over. Take the stroke penalty and drop for Christ's sakes.

It's always the rich people that are the cheapest bastards on earth. Most people wouldn't waste 2 minutes looking for a 1 dollar golf ball. Then again most people don't tip a dollar on a 20 dollar tab. Rich people do that shit all the time.

Never got into golf. Never got into sports at all really. I liked watching college hoops and football and that's about it.

I still watch golf, college hoops and football and the occasional NFL game, but that's about it. I used to love baseball, but they've juiced the balls and players and shrank the parks to where it's nothing but a home run derby now.
