US poised to ease restrictions on marijuana in historic shift, but it'll remain controlled substance

In a historic shift, the U.S. moves to reclassify marijuana as a less dangerous drug, AP sources say.

The proposal, which still must be reviewed by the White House Office of Management and Budget, would recognize the medical uses of cannabis and acknowledge it has less potential for abuse than some of the nation’s most dangerous drugs. However, it would not legalize marijuana outright for recreational use.

The agency’s move, confirmed to the AP on Tuesday by five people familiar with the matter who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss the sensitive regulatory review, clears the last significant regulatory hurdle before the agency’s biggest policy change in more than 50 years can take effect.

Such an epic failure on Biden's part. Seriously. The only reason he's desperate to get it done now is his failing at the polls. Sad that the only reason he's doing it is political points.

It makes me want to vote every one of them out of office.

This is why Trump is winning in so many polls. Most of us have simply had it with Biden's bullshit to the point we're sitting this one out.

Polls say you're wrong. Biden has been down 6 to 8 points the last three polls in a row.

He just keeps on parroting jobs and economy like an idiot and completely ignores the problems.

No. Those are CNN, CBS and NBC polls. Exit polls are taken literally as people exit the polls. You can't have exit polls when there's no election going on.

Biden is essentially doing the same thing that George HW Bush did when he lost re-election: ignoring everything that was going on for his "talking points". That's why he lost to Clinton.

People can tolerate a guy that's struggling. People can tolerate a guy that's trying but failing. But people simply will not tolerate a guy that completely ignores them and acts as though absolutely nothing is wrong.
