The Worst of the Police

That's not it. The guy in question got into a fight with the deputy when the deputy wanted to check his backpack. That's why he got tazed.

And FYI: that's exactly how my childhood best friend, a Cobb County police officer, got killed. He too asked to look into a suspicious character's backpack, only the guy let Robby have it and then shot him twice in the head with a gun he had hidden in his pants when Robby went to look in it.

Don't think for a moment anybody has forgotten about that around police circles.

I think we've seen different videos...

I have NOT seen any video where this young man swings at the deputy. The only video I've seen is a compliant person who is suddenly slammed to the ground for no apparent reason.

Two things: they talk over that video so you can't hear what's being said and that video is cut. There's about a minute missing out of it.

The guy keeps pulling away from the officer and pushing at him and the officer warns him three times to stop pulling away and pushing him before he gets put on the ground.

It's excessive force. That poor guy did what any normal person pulled out of the dark would be doing - asking why?

There was no call to throw him that way. I don't care what the fuck happened last year let alone last week to some other cop. That's just excuses for this type of police behaviour

Every stop is different - deputy dog has anger issues.

OK.

When the GBI reviews it, finds that the video was edited and the officer was within his rights, remember what I said.

I see now why the police got the GBI involved. When people start intentionally editing videos to create outrage, it's the smart move.
