New floor and drain installed.



Got the framing reworked on the left side too. It's not pretty, but it'll have to do. I couldn't get rid of any of the crap they had in there because it's all tied in to areas beyond where I could reach, so I have to just tie into it.

I triple braced everything. Overkill, really, but I figured I'd might as well.

That would work. There's actually a lot more room back there. That's where the garden jacuzzi sits. You can just barely see the bracket holding the two large hoses that feed the back of it.

Debating on whether or not to go for the base install tomorrow. I'm really pissed off because now the brand new Samsung refrigerator is leaking. I have no idea from where.

I've shut off the water to it and mopped up everything I could. Just shy of 10 months old and this is the THIRD FUCKING TIME this has happend.

I would caution to make sure things are packed if your going to...don't want them rattling behind the Jacuzzi everytime the airpump kicks on.

That's not a problem. There's actually an access door on the jacuzzi if anything goes sideways.

Base installed.



Now it has to set for 2 days, which is a good thing. I need a break.

The base passed the leak test yesterday, so went to work on installing the furring strips, got that done and moved on to the walls.



That's it for the day. Got to get the shelf installed on the left wall tomorrow, finish caulking that wall, then start cutting out the wet wall, which is not going to be fun.

So, no progress the last two days. Had to replace the coils and plugs on the old S60 yesterday and woke up this morning to a blown hot water heater.

$2,584.00 later, it's now fixed.

To add insult to injury, I ordered the wrong shower handle. I ordered a Delta and needed a Moen.

So there's another 60 bucks or so down the drain.

Hopefully, there will be no disasters tomorrow and I can get the water proofing done.

This stuff is REALLY, REALLY nasty. It reminds me of working with fiberglass and resin, only worse. It's like painting with really thick pancake batter.
