The Heritage Foundation is a non-profit violating US tax code. Here is how to file a complaint anonymously with the IRS.

The problem is, they're flat out wrong.

They're allowed to support policy. Example: Greenpeace can advocate for and advertise support for any legislation that reduces carbon emissions.

They are not allowed to say "Vote for Joe Biden".

Heritage Foundation to this point has never so much as mentioned a candidate or political party.

On Heritage’s website, it states about Project 2025: “It is not enough for conservatives to win elections. If we are going to rescue the country from the grip of the radical Left, we need both a governing agenda and the right people in place, ready to carry this agenda out on Day One of the next conservative Administration. “This is the goal of the 2025 Presidential Transition Project. The project will build on four pillars that will, collectively, pave the way for an effective conservative Administration: a policy agenda, personnel, training, and a 180-day playbook”

That sounds oddly specific to one political group.

Perhaps we are not seeing the same front page?

Because mine has a big fat link to Project2025, prominently displayed which sure looks an aweful lot like support.

Again, it is PERFECTLY LEGAL for them to link to a third party story or site and support it. They just can't have actual campaign support on their site, for example a fund raiser directly for Donald Trump where you can contribute right there on the spot.

They also can't sponsor an event, like pay for a rally or sponsor a dinner where the proceeds go to Trump's political campaign.

Everybody does it. In fact, the ACLU is probably the worst at it. https://www.aclu.org/

Look at all the articles that are anti-Trump that they're pointing to right there on the home page. That is perfectly legal. This is absolutely no different.

The people that came up with the idea it's illegal are fucking morons.

Under the your feds, political activity is defined as:

Political activity is activity directed toward the success or failure of a political party, candidate for partisan political office, or partisan political group.

Now I understand these are not federal employees but that definition is pretty accurate as far as political activity is concerned across all political spectrums.
Supporting a thought or idea with their web space is a cost they've assumed and that means support for that partuicular political idea in this case - project 2025

This new vigor of the right can be found at Project 2025. Organized by the Heritage Foundation, Project 2025 has brought together 45 (and counting) right-of-center organizations that are ready to get into the business of restoring this country through the combination of the right policies and well-trained people. The Project’s foundation is built on four interconnected pillars.

Their own website...

Again, it's perfectly legal. It always has been. It always will be.

Obviously, you didn't bother looking at the ACLU home page that is littered with anti-Trump stories. They are lawyers. They know it's perfectly legal.

Writing about something is not supporting it.

Me wishing you luck or me writing about how bad a person you are isn't supporting you or your opponent. Me giving you money towards whatever it is you're doing or funding your opponent is support. If you can't see the difference between the two, I can't help you.

No, it isn't. You're reaching because it's what you want to believe.

When a man goes to jail for failure to follow a court support order for his ex-wife, do you think that's about something he wrote, or he put on a website?

No.

It's about money.

In this country, support is all about money and nothing more.

Supporting your kid in college isn't giving her a ride or wishing her luck. It's paying tuition and buying books.

I can't put it any plainer than that.
