Stay classy, Atlanta. Stay classy.

And now we're hitting rock bottom.

David Ruiz, 62, is behind bars after Gwinnett Police said he tried to kidnap a 7-year old girl from the Colonial Place Apartments in Norcross around 4:45 p.m. Friday while she was playing outside.
I lived in Norcross when I met my wife. It used to be a pretty nice place to live. Now it's like a demilitarized zone. It's about 14 miles down the road from me towards Atlanta.

Sports. The bane of modern civilization.

That crap happens ALL THE TIME. The park right down the street from us is George Pierce Park. It hosts all kinds of little league sports. It has multiple baseball and football / soccer fields.

Nearly every single week during little league games several people wind up getting arrested. Yelling at / attacking refs, abusing kids, etc.

It's a bunch of failed parents that never made it in sports trying desperately to relive their lives through their kids and stop at nothing to make sure the kids succeed where they failed.

Half the kids out there don't even want to play. They have to.

It sad. And disgusting.

Meanwhile, in Loganville...

Four students at Loganville High School have been arrested and are facing felony charges after an incident involving one of their classmates.
According to police, a group of students, ranging in age from 14 to 17, forced another student into a bathroom closet for a long period of time. They add that while being held in the closet, the student was repeatedly sprayed with cleaning products.
The students also made a number of homophobic remarks towards the student while being held in the closet, police say.

I bet their republican parents are so proud.
