Skyscraper-sized container ship turns sideways, blocks Egypt's Suez Canal

I remember towing a Ford 8N tractor back to the equipment shed with a 24 HP Murray riding mower. Couldn't believe it worked but our dad was off with the truck and we wanted to fix our fuckup before he got home.

Best I ever did was I towed a friends F150 back to his house with my Nissan Altima. He had a tow bungy cord we used. I only had to tow him about 3 miles down the road but still. It was funny as hell.

I can top it.

Back in 1992 I had bought a brand new ZX11 Kawasaki. The first badass sport bike to hit the planet. It'd do 200mph.

So anyway, me and a friend on his brand new 883 Harley Davidson were on the way to Edisto for a party. Suddenly, he's just gone. I turn around and head back and there he is on the side of the road. No power. At all.

So he breaks a tow rope out and, you guessed it, my jap bike has to tow his "Made in the USA" bike back to the house. He asked me to take the backroads.

I didn't. I took him right through the middle of Hollywood on the way to his place. It was glorious.

Of course, as soon as we stopped at his house, I put the kickstand down, jumped off and took off running. 😁

Foot note: turns out his control module had blown and his rectifier assembly had fried. The bike was 6 weeks old. Both components were made by Hitachi. I told him, "See? If you'd bought a Kawasaki you'd have had Nippon components and not have that problem". Then I took off running again. 😂
