Recently WG announced another CV rework could be on the way and so players finally took their frustration about the unlimited plane mechanic which kicks in when a CV loses their squadrons and planes get replenished within 1 min, there are people who seriously want to see this mechanic go because it is not only painful but unfair as well
Post CV rework, the admission is that not only CV's are broken, the unlimited planes mechanic is causing pain

The carrier was never going to work in the game. That was clear long before they were ever introduced.
The carrier ended the effective lives of essentially every ship in the game. How can it ever be balanced?
It can't. Just look at navy's today and there it is. It's like trying to balanced the machine gun with a halberd or sword.
