Been playing this the last week. They've done a LOT of work on it since I last tried it a year or so ago. I think now it's the game it probably should have been on release. It's actually quite good.
No. For some reason, when I'm using DLSS, recording and screen shots don't look anywhere near as good as it does on my monitor. It sort of goofs up, ESPECIALLY on screen shots.
OK, got the Nvidia overlay working now and took a screen shot. Problem is, it's in JXR format so I can't post it directly. I had to use an online converter to turn it into a PNG. It still loses a little bit of definition, but this is what it pretty much looks like:
I have, at long last, become a Reddit user because of this game.
I still hate it, and it's hard to make sense of most times, but it's the only site that runs NMS content. The most visited place is the coordinates exchange, where people post the coordinates to interesting planets, ships, multi-tools, etc.
Reddit changed styles a bit ago, but 'old' reddit is still available for a lot of sub-reddits. You may find the look better for navigation.
To access simple put old where www goes in the address.
i.e https://www.reddit.com/r/NoMansSkyTheGame/ can also be accessed by https://old.reddit.com/r/NoMansSkyTheGame/ which gives it the older style.
