The bills will enact a ballot question that voters overwhelmingly approved last year, allowing people older than 21 to legally carry up to six ounces of marijuana.

It's sort of shitty that tax dollars are what it takes to get government to do what the vast majority of people want done to begin with, but there it is: money talks.

I'd rather see people standing on street corners smoking a joint than a cigarette, that's for sure. I mean, what's the worst that could happen? They brake down in a fit of laughter and then fall asleep.
