CNN is reporting that Parler is off-line. That's it simply turned off.

Amazon killed their server. It's gone until they have another one. Problem is, who's going to host that particular hot potato?

No. Yes, people were trolled over it. But no, I don't think the FBI had to resort to crawling through Parler data to find anybody.
Most of them openly posted their videos on Facebook Live, Twitter, TicTok, Instagram, you name it. All they had to do was click a link and they knew who it was.
Another great many were turned in by people that knew them and replied to the FBI's tip messages.

That's what I think too.
That' came from a guy over in our Telephone services area, telecom. He's next to our IT area folks. They are already putting an over abundant importance on themselves over this parler businesses you see. Most of the IT folks in that dept. are libertarian types etc. I think they use that free speech, this and that argument as stepping stone to press forward with these trump maneuvers etc.
That's was the mindset of the Trumper this morning I spoke to. If you not for them, then you're a communist, or what ever.
