This is really quite something. Here's the site:
So I took a look at some of the medications I've had to take that Cost Plus has to see the difference:
Baclofen - $10 co-pay on insurace / $4.20 at Cost Plus
Diclofenac Sodium Gel - $25 co-pay on insurance / $14.54 at Cost Plus (It's now available over-the-counter for $18.00)
Duloxetine Delayed Release (DR) (Generic for Cymbalta) - $20 co-pay on insurance / $4.20 at Cost Plus
This guy is REALLY doing something. I saw an interview with him earlier today where he says they don't have many medications at the moment but they're adding them all the time and hope to have several thousand available within the next year to 18 months.
What's more, those prices are WITHOUT INSURANCE. We presently pay close to $22,000.00 per year in health insurance premiums so we can then pay co-pays on all our medications, doctor visits and more.
It really is quite something he's doing!
