Man with Parkinson's tries marijuana for the first time

Most of shit like that is fake. I had an aunt with PD that passed about two years ago. I do know that Michael J. Fox foundation has done a study on it and the majority of PD patients got some help from it. But I've never heard of anybody just rubbing some shit in their mouth and a minute later being completely symptom free. That smacks of snake oil salesmanship. Here's an article about at MJF's site. Not surprisingly it says the same thing.

He would have most likely been using what is called RSO (Rick Simpson? Oil) which a very potent extract that has been treated to be an ingestable form of THC.
It is taken exactly like you see heart patients taking their "nitro' tablets, under the tongue in a method called 'sublingual'. Suffice to say medication received this way takes full effect in 15 mins or less. It is one of the fastest ways to administer certain medications.

I don't know man. My uncle uses mj for ptsd. He's literally a different person when he's not on it. Like night and day. It's not just his attitude either. His hands shake pretty bad too but it all goes away as soon as it kicks in.

I've done that several times in hospital before a surgery. They give you these very small tablets to "get your relaxed" before they hook up the IV and knock you out.

They do hit amazingly fast. I would say less than a minute.

When I think about it I once had an anti-nausea medication taken via a 'very thin moisture melting strip placed under the tongue". I recall it being also very fast acting.

Then I guess I'll stand corrected then. Don't get me wrong I want to beleive it. It just seems so fucking unbelievable.
