Roy Clark is one of the most underrated guitarist of all time.
He got a bad rap because he was a house guitarist at the Grand Old Opry in Nashville. Most guys would go through there rather fast and either move on to solo careers or fade away.
Roy stayed there for a long time, eventually ending up on Hee Haw, a country variety show when I was a kid.
He and Buck Owens would play together each episode.
